5G HUB is actively hiring. We are hiring the following positions:

Embedded/Firmware Engineer

  • Advanced Arduino and Raspberry PI programming (e.g. sketches, bootloaders, drivers)
  • Adding or updating firmware on wireless modems and modules
  • Experience with C/C++ programming
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc)
  • Familiarity with ARM-based systems, compilers, toolchains, and debugging.
  • Basic knowledge about Cloud.
  • Experience with Qualcomm chipset is a plus.

Working on-site or remotely.

PCB Designer

  • Design PCB hardware boards with wireless and RF module related to 4G/5G wireless and cellular systems
  • Experience in designing PCB schematic, PCB layout, routing and placing optimization, signal integrity tests, prepare hardware parts and BoM
  • Experience in impedance control and differential routing on PCB (USB 2, USB 3, RF,  PCIe bus, high-speed bus and design)
  • Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met
  • Develop and generate drawings and documentation to facilitate PCB fabrication and assembly
  • Perform drawings and documentation updates
  • Experience with Altium, Eagle CAD tools, create ECAD library footprints and/or schematic symbols as required

Mechanical and Industrial Designer

  • Work with engineering team to design and model new products
  • Use of CAD (Solid Works) software to create models and drawings of products.  Prepare drawing and drive CNC manufacturing
  • Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
  • Construct prototypes and confirm designs
  • Utilize design analysis methods such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA), stress analysis (both FEA & hand calculations)

Technical Editor

Writing, Editing, and publishing of technical news, information, and articles about 5G, wireless, and cellular technology. Skills required are:

  • Experience with 4G/5G cellular and wireless systems
  • Knowledge about wireless technology such as WiFi, WiMAX, ZigBee, and 2G/3G systems are highly preferable
  • Technical writing skills and communication in English-language

 

5G-Technology Trainer and Educator 

Writing, Editing, and publishing of training materials for 5G technology and products. Skills required are:

  • Experience with 4G/5G cellular and wireless systems and with +2 years previous industry experience.
  • Knowledge about wireless technology such as WiFi, WiMAX, ZigBee, and 2G/3G systems are highly preferable
  • +2-years previous industry experience in 4G/5G training and educational materials
