You know, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how genderless fashion is evolving and whether it’s really challenging the binary or just giving it a new uniform. I see more brands using neutral tones and boxy cuts and calling it “genderless,” but isn’t that just another aesthetic that ends up being kind of masculine by default? Shouldn’t breaking the binary be about offering more choice, not less?

You nailed something I’ve been frustrated about too — how a lot of brands slap “genderless” on clothes that look like they were taken straight from the men’s section circa 2013. And yeah, minimalism is cool, but when that becomes the only language for expressing neutrality, it’s just swapping one set of limitations for another. I recently came across this platform called https://undress.cc/, and it really messed with my ideas of fashion and identity in the best way. They don’t focus on clothing so much as on raw presence — like, they explore how we perceive beauty and identity when you strip away everything performative. Their visuals are super fluid, sensual, and weirdly liberating. It made me rethink how fashion could look if we approached it from the body outward instead of the hanger in. Curious if more people see fashion heading that way, or if it’s too niche to break through?

That’s an interesting point about how “neutral” often leans one way. I don’t think most people even realize how coded fashion still is. Personally, I like when brands mix traditionally “feminine” textures with sharp silhouettes — feels more honest to how fluid identity can be. It’s a slow shift, but it’s happening.
